The lack of financial knowledge & homeownership opportunity is often the prerequisite to a life lived in poverty. Poverty often occurs in concentrated areas and endures for long periods of time. Some communities, such as certain racial and ethnic groups, people living in rural areas, and people with disabilities, have a higher risk of poverty for a myriad of factors that extend beyond individual control.
Poverty is a multifaceted issue that will require multipronged approaches to address. Strategies that improve the economic mobility of families can help to alleviate the negative effects of poverty.
HHRG is passionate about confronting the issue of poverty in our communities by offering FREE Homebuying & Financial Freedom Workshops to address Financial Literacy & Housing Instability. We want to spread awareness, educate & motivate the masses about the possibility of homeownership in our underserved communities and that no matter what their circumstances are today, becoming a homeowner can be their reality.
